May 8

Checking in.  Swim workout with the interval group earlier in the week netted some interesting results. Doing sets with 150s and 50s.  On the first 150 came in at 1:55!  That would be about a 2:30 200m.  Working out with the group once a week pushes me harder and really works the muscular endurance.  I switch up the day I work with them so that i get syd's workouts in too.  I have been only able to get in 2 days a week instead of three (Sat is impossible for me as the Y has open swim and kids lessons).I'll need to rearrange my long rides to saturday though and might switch that Sat workout for Fridays.  It's a little complicated and might need Syd's help.
I'm starting to think I could do the 2k swim in 30-35 minutes.

Bike:  I've gotten all my bike workouts in.  I feel nervous about long rides in the city.  Last friday (60k) I rode indoors, yuck.  I have a 70k tomorrow and might go up Don Mills but I really don't know where the hell I'm going.  I'm starting to think I'll be able to average 30k an hour for the 90k.  A 3 hour ride.  I think it's possible without being too tanked for the run.

Run:  Also all workouts in.  Very encouraged that the ITB is behaving.  Long run 11k (oops should have been 12k) was fun and next day did speed work, And the legs are fine.  I don't think a 1:45 for the run is out of the question.  So with transitions I think a 5 1/2 hours looks doable.
